I was watching "60 Minutes" last Sunday,
and saw the story called "The Kanzius Machine". It was a piece
on John Kanzius, a former radio technician (keep in mind that he's someone with no
medical training whatsoever) who came up with what might be a
promising lead in cancer treatment using radio waves. Mr. Kanzius has cancer himself and was trying to find something less
intrusive and toxic as a treatment. He even has the people at MD
Anderson cautiously optimistic.
I'm obviously not a
doctor, nor would I ever suggest anyone put their hopes into something
that is so new and unproven, but as someone who is also curious in
science, I thought it was interesting enough to share. Click on
the arrow to watch it for yourself. If you're having problems
with the embedded video, try this
link instead.
FYI -
the commercial is there because it's a CBS video and it can't be
removed. The webmaster doesn't get kickbacks for sharing it, nor would
he expect
any. This site is for Mona, Lane and Francesca out of love and
friendship, not commerce! (sa)
